Camus_Build_Instructions.txt

Quick Start:

A) Download the code
B) Resolve the dependenices:
   a) The current version of Camus uses Maven for its build process. The following two dependencies are needed:
   	   i) Apache Kafka Version : 0.7
   	   	  Download Link : http://kafka.apache.org/downloads.html

   	   ii) Apache Avro source code with an applied Patch available at this location:
   	     Apache AVRO Source Code SVN Link : http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/avro/

   	     Patch File Location : https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AVRO-1124
   	                           Patch Name : AVRO-1124-draft.patch

	   iii) Azkaban-commons jar file
		This can be built using the source code at : https://github.com/azkaban/azkaban/downloads

   b) The above two jar files can de added as external dependencies OR they can be installed in the local maven repository and the dependency can be stated in the project pom.xml.
   	    
C) Go the base directory and run command : mvn clean package
