How to insert ENV variable into the field "Branch name"

Describe your use-case which is not covered by existing documentation.

I would like to show current branch name in my notifications messages

But it's not worked properly

It it any clue how to do this?

I am also struggling with this - is it possible, and has anyone found a solution? I'd rather not move to a pipeline build, but if there's no other choice - I can do.
