Gremlin.createClient is not a function

I don't know why this error occured with below code.

const Gremlin = require("gremlin");
// Gremlin
const client = Gremlin.createClient(
    443,
    ...

Typescript 3.0.4
gremlin: 3.3.4

You have to use the gremlin version 2.7.0:

npm install [email protected]

The function createCliente doesn't work with gremlin's new versions.
