would be good to review and merge the changes from ajaxorg and digitialbutter at least for the 0.4x API

I've spent the time and merged the forks from digitalbutter and ajaxorg into my fork. Still have to do some real world testing. So far some specs are still broken - but they are broken on jamescarr/master, too.

Yeah we would support you on this endeavor. We will be doing more work soon with the Pay Pal pro stuff so it would be nice to merge this into the main paynode repo.

@jamescarr - Are you still actively maintaining this? If not would you be able to add someone else to the list of committers and give access to someone else to upload to your npm repo?

I am also thinking of adding paypal-ipn support. Having a second module for this feels a bit silly.

I'd be more than happy to merge any pull requests. I've unfortunately been busy with other projects that haven't required any online payment processing.

Alright. One pull request coming up. :)

Would you maybe consider adding 1-2 new people as committers to your repo?
Would make things a little easier if you don't have the time to maintain it.

So today I finally got some time off work to poke around in some of my old projects. The sad state of my node related work is it has yet to grow into a full time position to replace my Java Enterprise job and as such has been subject to much neglect. This is pretty sad as attendees to my node workshops have gone on to full time node development while for me it is still only a hobby.

This module still has a lot of promise and I haven't seen much else done in the same space. This has gotten me thinking to expand work on this and rework the internals of it. I'll start posting a lot of new issues to help define a roadmap to start taking it to the next level and getting the project moving forward.

did Paypal Pro support ever get added?

Seeing all the payment options you currently have... I just wanted to mention.. http://stripe.com is an amazing credit card processing company. Their acceptance policy, reasonable understandable pricing (no monthly fee!), API and API docs.. all great. If you're unfamiliar with them, you should check them out.
I run all my processing through them.
