MathJax 3 and show equation number

I am starting to use this theme today and I like it, since it is simple and elegant.

Since I use a lot of equations, I would like to ask that the equation could have number and MathJax provides it. Now it is also already version 3.

In my local themes/hugo-theme-codex/layouts/partials folder I add mathjax.html with following content
