Decode only .text section

Is it possible to only decode a particular section of a binary?

For example:

from iced_x86 import *

with open("test.o", "rb") as f:
    obj = f.read()

decoder = Decoder(64, obj)
formatter = Formatter(FormatterSyntax.NASM)

for instr in decoder:
    disasm = formatter.format(instr)
    print(disasm)

In this example is it possible to only print instructions in the .text section of test.o, or should I use another tool to strip the other sections before reading the binary (e.g.,objcopy --only-section='.text' -I elf64-x86-64 -O elf64-x86-64 test.o)?

Answering my own question: I just need to use some tool, e.g., readelf to figure out where the section is located and then I only decode these bytes with iced.
