Currently only protocols like http or ftp are accepted for links. For individual protocols, an "https" is always added.

It would be good if either all individual protocols (security?) would be accepted or a whitelist can be created.

Most importantly "tel:" a.o. for smartphone apps improtant protocols so that the apps can automatically loaded when clicked and a call can be made more or less instantly. - WhatsApp (https://wa.me/...) Skype. LineApp. Signal. Telegram etc.

since 2021 and this problem is still not solved. Is there any progress at all?
