We should investigate the behaviour for touchpad apple users more, some of our features just didn't work there

sideway scrolling in timeline could also be implemented (Doreen doesn't have a mouse)

What are some? Only zooming in the interactive? Strange, since it worked on the macbook that I tested on.
Just to be sure - you tested with Ctrl and Zoom-gesture, not some finger-pinching or other fancy combos?

I am not sure, because it happend while user testing.
But I think it was ctrl and zoom gesture
