It seems like the dataset, CA_SanJoaquin_9_Reflight_2021, is missing a lot of data relative to its boundaries. I understand that the boundaries for the 3dep datasets are a rough approximation for speed/efficiency purposes, however for this dataset there seems to be a very large difference between the spatial extent of the data and the boundaries. Attached image shows a hillshade of all the data in grey, with the boundaries in red.

We generate the boundaries at a resolution of 800m. These look like some tiny patches that aren't much bigger than 800m, so we're only getting a cell or two when we generate it.
