ingredient.for - should it be sliced?

We know that one ingredient should be used for one medicinal product, but it can be used for several administrable products or manufactured items.
Should we reflect that in slices with different cardinalities, or is that overthinking?
Also, I have not sliced a reference by profile beforem, but they're all different resources, so should be possible?
