Context

  • Clarinet 1 currently embeds a JS/TS runtime (Deno) to run clarinet tests, this dependency is heavy and painful to maintain
  • We aim to build a future proof, more flexible, simpler and scalable solution through a WASM library that will allow to interact with a clarity session

For more past context, a POC for this new testing framework has been conducted in Q2, see #1052.

Roadmap

💡 We can expect some early adopters of the SDK before we actually ship Clarinet 2 (including the pyth project)
