There may be some ambiguity in this issue.

Model-Manager has two features that need to use model scanning, one is to obtain the model list, and the other is to update the model information.

Updating model information can add specified model types and paths to narrow the scan range.

Obtaining the model list can only scan all of them, but optimization can be achieved by splitting the API.

I think that sounds about on par with what I was thinking.

Really diggin' it so far btw. I had stuck with another fork up until the latest update, and even with the longer scanning time I prefer this one because of the resize ability and cleanliness.

Just need that initial scanning time to be a bit (preferably a lot) quicker lol. :)

Please consider also an option to scan only 1 model at a time.

Like this extention: https://github.com/pythongosssss/ComfyUI-Custom-Scripts

And when a model it's not scanned, you just show a grey square with the file name.
