Description

The general AWS SDK documentation lists standard environment variables for service endpoints: https://docs.aws.amazon.com/sdkref/latest/guide/ss-endpoints-table.html. Implement support for them.

The shared configuration file parameters are out of scope.

May be superseded by aws/aws-sdk-go-v2#2226
