Problem description

Currently complex geoJSON shapes (e.g. Polygon) defined as such in the VC documents are displayed as a collection of dots on the maps in the Indexer and Guardian UI:

Shape defined in the VC

geoJSON-standard

Indexer display

geoJSON-in-guardian

VC containing the definition of the geo-located shape

geoJSON-containing-VC.json

Requirements

  • Introduce capability for geometric shapes display for geoJSON in Guardian UI (both Indexer and Guardian itself).
  • Shapes display must be correctly superimposed on maps wherever possible

Definition of done

  • Indexer and Guardian maps UI is enhanced to support getJSON shapes as described above
  • Documentation and samples are updated accordingly

Acceptance criteria

Historical geoJSON data in already published correctly formatted VCs which contains shapes is supported, i.e. in the new version of Guardian it is displayed as shapes correctly positioned on the map
