Hello, thanks for your help in advance.

I have the router Redmi AC2100, and I would like to flash its Padavan firmware following the guide at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kmAdpq43cWs, but first I would like to know a few short questions, as I am not specialized in routers, but I am a .NET software developers and get used to custom firmwares for phones and consoles, so I think I could be able to do the flashing as I have already flashed openwrt in the past (reverted to stock firmware right now because of 2.4 Ghz problems...)

-I want to use Padawan because afaik, I can also configure a Transmission server and web gui to run at the router itself, am I right ?

  • Where the "Padavan" name comes from, maybe from a man called Andy Padavan ? (https://github.com/andy-padavan/rt-n56u)

  • How is that the author of the youtube video at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kmAdpq43cWs choosed a certain file from your repo to flash the firmware ? I don't know what rt-n56u means and its relation with Redmi AC2100

  • Where can I learn about this so I can know with a minimal knowledge what am I doing with my router ? is there some kind of official docs for Padavan ? (I don't think so) or for that rt-n56u thing ?

I would suggest you if you don't mind to write some kind of introduction in the README project with my introductory questions/answers or something similar for newbies like me.

Thanks a lot for all your help !!!
