This repo contains information I used to build a spice rack.
In order to create the spice labels, I used images from botanical books that are in the public domain. You can find the sources below.
I processed each PDF using Adobe Acrobat's OCR, to make finding the right plant easier.
The images are cut out using Adobe Photoshop and the layout of the labels is done in Affinity Designer.
The rack was designed in Autodesk's Fusion 360, and fits IKEA's Rajtan jars.
To build it, print the spacer-*.stl and holder.stl files you can find in rack.
You need 2 1.5mm rods per layer (I used steel rods), which you will need to cut to size and press fit into the spacers. Per spacer, you will also need 1 M3 bolt of 10mm length and 1 M3 nuts of less than 2.5mm depth. For each holder, you will need two screws.

Some of these books were easily found on archive.org, but some were really hard to find. I did my best to use only images that are in the public domain, if you have any concerns about it open an issue or send me an email.
They are roughly ranked from most-used to least-used.

- E-code: Meslo - fully (Apache License 2.0)
- Devanagari: Laila (Light) - fully free (OFL)
- Hindi/Urdu: Khmer MN - included on macOS
- Latin: Petit Formal Script - fully free (OFL)
- Syrian: Noto Sans Syriac - fully free (OFL)
