Currently the only way to authorize a user is through the Password flow. User provides username password directly in code.

It would be great to implement code flow for installed applications as described here: https://praw.readthedocs.io/en/latest/getting_started/authentication.html

Basically it allows oauth authentication directly on reddit in browser or your application and allows to pass redirect URI.
