the homepage should update itselves when a new release of the web frontend or the server is pushed.

this should be possible via commit hooks in the respective repositories (i suppose).

We could instead just load it via JSONP:

https://api.github.com/repos/hackerspace-bootstrap/strichliste/releases?callback=foo

Makes it much simpler IMHO.
