re #3, the first thing to demonstrate is that a person who receives a VC can verify it.

TradeTrust example: Given a paper VC, scan the QR to verify on the TradeTrust web site
Using VCKit : upoad a digital VC and verify - OA, W3C
using a 3rd part platform: Transmute, Mattr, etc?

NB: there are different flavours because it's stil quite new. VCKit supports the ones we know about, we can add more if we need them.
