How do you compile this plugin for Linux?

Tried to use version 0.1 on gimp version 2.10.18 which is supplied by my distro, though it doesn't appear to work/load.

Hello, thanks for the interest in this plugin, unfortunately the main dependency (grad_aff) of this plugin is currently not easily buildable on Linux. I'm currently in the process off doing a more or less complete rewrite of it to ease a build on Linux. However, this will take a few months.
In the meantime you could use paa.gruppe-adler.de to convert between paa and png formats on Linux.
