For once I decided to take advantage of the gear arrays to make some middle eastern civilians with all the appropriate gear in our modlist.

I used Civ_F as the unit and defined all the gear in the CBA settings.
For goggle I used the following
"G_Spectacles", "G_Spectacles_Tinted", "G_Squares","murshun_cigs_cig0","murshun_cigs_cig0","","","","","","","","","","",""

However on run I found while the civilians were wearing those glasses they were also wearing vanilla sunglasses as well.

From Discord it looks like BIS_enableRandomization needs to be turned off on each unit, and probably should be done by GRAD_Civs

👍 I agree.

In the meantime, as a workaround, you could use https://community.bistudio.com/wiki/Arma_3:_Vehicle_Customization#Prevent_randomization for your civ classes.
