Hello,
I am running Samsung Galaxy S II GTI9100 with omnirom 20140503 Android 4.2.2. Previously I was running CM-10 20121116 Android 4.1.
My issue is that when TTS plus is speaking it simply stops playing and I have to reboot the device in order to get the speech back.
Here is a logcat output http://pastie.org/9142471
Please can you look at this and possibly try helping me out if this might be related to your app?

There is something wrong with the system. Don't know what, not enough data. Does this happen when you listen over Bluetooth or also through speakers? The fix may be in updating the system, or the radio / modem module, which may be separate from the system ROM.

Hello,
This happens while listening through the main loud speaker.
What can I do in order to provide more relevant details?

While the screen is on it never happens for me after the screen goes off
TTS plus generates several utterances and then the speech stops in the
middle of speaking a sentence and then I can do nothing but switch to
the other speech engine or restart the phone.

Interesting fact is that with eSpeak I was unable to reproduce it.

Unofficial roms usually do not come with so called RIL . Are you sure it
may help by looking for a recent RIL for SGS2? I am asking this because
I have no issues with calling, receiving SMS, connecting to wifi. I have
never and am not even planning to use bluetooth.

Greetings

Peter

It seems that the speech engine does not work correctly. The only thing you could try in TTS+ Plugin is: press More button and then of the option to "process sentences concurrently". If you try this, let me know if there is any difference or not. Don't have other ideas, except try yet other speech engines and voices.
