Adding this to AndroidManifest.xml under our activity:

            <intent-filter android:label="TTS+">
                <action android:name="android.intent.action.SEND" />
                <data android:mimeType="*/*" />
                <category android:name="android.intent.category.DEFAULT" />
            </intent-filter>

is enough to put our item named "TTS+" or whatever into Android "Share" or "SendTo" screen,
and start that activity. Next to discover: how to know about this start mode, and how to
get that data to read it aloud...

OK, it works well when I inserted this code into SettingsActivity, got the following in the intent:
