May need to think about how we frame gratipay/gratipay.com#3994, in light of #242 and http://smallbusiness.chron.com/payroll-vs-independent-contractors-30934.html:

An independent contractor is not an employee; therefore, he’s not paid through the payroll.

Payroll is specifically used for employees. You should avoid that term for contractors.
