KairosDB solved every problem for me (amount of ingested datapoints, availability and data replication) where other solutions just didn't work.
Without the integration into grafana this would be a problem.
Let me bring this up internally. There are a fair amount of active installations of this plugin.
Thanks for picking this up (to at least see an answer). At least for me my expectation with it being an official plugin is that it would at the very least always be fully compatible with the latest stable version of Grafana even if it did end up being thin on the feature front.
KairosDB datasource in Grafana is outdated. Multiple API calls are incompatible with the current version of Kairos.
Is this repo maintained? Is there any plans for latest version of
grafana-datasource
