hi Goosst, thanks for sharing your Vaillant/ebus setup on your blog.
I've been playing around with a VRC700 thermostat.
And I would like to find out how to deactivate the system.
I thought I could be controlled through the SFMode element.
Other settings in that same menu can be controlled just fine (like "Party", "1 x boilerlading", "1 dag thuis") ... but the System deactivation = "Systeem UIT (vorstbev. actief) setting, I'm unable to find.
I tried all element values from 0 to 255 ... no luck

The attached pictures show what setting I mean....
Any ideas?

thanks

Hello

What is the difference with using the holiday mode (or setting the holiday period) and setting a low temperature?
There seems to be a read only signal GlobalSystemOff, not sure if this is the one that gets high when you push that button on your thermostat ... . If so, there is probably a reason why it's read-only :).
Maybe you could ask the question in the ebus configuration repository: https://github.com/john30/ebusd-configuration/

hi,
the difference is the reading on the display. The effect is the same if I disable HWC + z1 + z2 + ventilation. This would be a one-liner and also show it clearly on the thermostat that all is disabled.
Thanks for looking into the GlobalSystemOff. Unfortunately no parameter there for the VRC700.
