Are there any copy tools like rsync with gfapi support?

I often need to upload some files onto Gluster volumes. I'd like to use sharding on my volumes because of its benefits. Since sharding enabled often leads to uploading freezing when fuse is used (#3803) I'm curious ain't there some tools to upload files w/o fuse, using gfapi backend? It may be even a simple cp utility or some rsync alternative. I think about fgapi backend for rsync but maybe there are out-of-the-box solutions..
