Github App to be used across Multiple GHEC Instances #245
Comments
Hi @MohitDubeyGitHub - yes, this is a supported configuration. To set it up, create an instance of the app, and install into both orgs, so it has permission to move commits between them. I'm happy to talk further and help walk you through this on a conference call if you want, please email me at ahpook @ github.com to set something up! |
Hey Github-Community-Projects/Private-Mirrors
But both the Orgs are in two different Github Enterprise Instances.

@MohitDubeyGitHub i haven't tried this configuration but i think that should work! You may need to make the app visible instead of private once created but that would not expose any sensitive info. |
Hey Eric
Here it's not about the Orgs . I am talking about multiple enterprise
servers. Documentation suggests that it can't span over multiple enterprise
servers but over multiple Orgs within one enterprise instance.
Let me know if we can setup a call for this or help me if we are on same
page.
Regards
Mohit Dubey

Is your feature request related to a problem?
We want to use this App across multiple GHEC Instances . So Public Mirrors in GHEC Instance 1 & Private Mirrors in GHEC instance 2 because our GHEC 2 is not allowed to have Public Orgs. Is there a way to accomplish this ?
Describe the solution you'd like
Want to have this Github App working across multiple GHEC Instances as we have separate GHEC instances for Public and Private Forks
Describe alternatives you've considered
