• What painful lessons from working with the HTAN portal that we have the opportunity to improve as we update the design/data model in order to make this more maintainable and truly reusable going forward, e.g.

  • let's not use Wordpress or too many different storage backends
  • don't use overqualified attributes
  • what shows up in portal should be automated and determined by governance attributes on Synapse so not adding or removing data references directly
