@TLSteinacker thoughts? Currently red stars and blue circles are used for QC pass and QC fail, respectively, and size is set at 0.5 pixels.

Looks good to me! The top left pixel is always white unless I am in the slice with a spot that passed QC (so with a red star). Is this on purpose?

This isn't the case for me; which image are you using @TLSteinacker ? I have something like this...
