Crowdin for GrSciColl HP portal

It would be helpful is the community helps translating the webpage to other languages.

As @ManonGros shows on the presentation for the roadmap there is much work to do outside the English speaking community. Having the page in other languages could help giving the page more visibility.

Hosted portals are currently translated in 2 ways.

There is the data widgets. Those are translated in Crowdin as part of the gbif.org project.

And then there is the "prose" pages: e.g. about page, home page, faq, get-involved etc. Those are managed as part of the hosted portal code in markdown. The hosted portals were never designed to be translated by a community in crowdin, but by a select few site owners. It is perfectly possible to make pull requests with translations though. And also to invite people to edit the project. But we would need more documentation on how to do so I suspect.

Lastly there is the option that we try to figure out a process for managing this in Crowdin, but I currently have no idea how that would work

@vechocho for the about, how to and contact pages, I am happy to coordinate with translators to get them translated. However, the current text isn't final just yet (waiting for input from my colleagues) so it isn't ready for translation yet.

Thank you @ManonGros, the translation has some typos, but i think that is a good start for having a community translate page on the future.

The HP is amazingly easy going on the translations.

We have added Crowdin intergration with grscicoll. That means that translations should happen there. Your translations are not lost @vechocho. @ManonGros will upload them to crowdin (update: already have it seems)

For now we will evaluate if Crowdin works well with hosted portals.

I'm trying to get the work-in-progress translations to show in UAT
