Set a lower temperature if away

Is it possible to change the temperature setting when everyone is away? I have an entity when everyone has left the house. I was searching if I could use the vacation setting, but then it sets it to 15 degrees. I would like to lower it with 3 or 4 degrees. It is also not possible I think to log the current temperature and asked temperature. (those are no entitys) Or I overlook it. Maybe someone has the answer
