hero mdbook only works on root

I am experiencing an issue where the hero mdBook command only runs successfully when I'm in the root directory of my project. When trying to run from subdirectories or non root , it fails to detect or execute the commands as expected.

Notes

• You can run sudo hero mdbook ..., but the book gets created in /root/code/... so normal user can't access
