Extension gives error on wakeup

When launching a workspace with this extension, the extension gives an error:

I think that is expected to not have the cache file as nothing has been built yet. CMake has not been configured either.
Once CMake has been configured, the error goes away.

Can the error be silenced on wakeup ?
