VSCode has native support for the test explorer since a while now and the Test Explorer UI extension is deprecated.

Maybe in a few weeks. I have to study the new official API first. The Test Explorer framework will continue to work in any case even if no new feature will be added there

Thank you. Great extension.
For anyone else that ends up here because they want to use the new UI - you can set testExplorer.useNativeTesting to true for now

Is there a reason to keep the old deprecated API instead of switching to the "new" native one?
