I have no idea why this occurred to me all of a sudden, but I realized that I can't think of a reason why this app would even use JSON in the first place other than that JavaScript has super simple inbuilt methods for it. You guys might want to consider just outputting data directly into a CSV—if nothing else, it'll give you smaller file sizes.
