How do I get XRAY to work?

XRAY commands don't work. I'm using a modpack called "CrazyCraft Lite" in Curseforge. How can I make XRAY work? I tried adding optifine since someone else said that would help but it just crashes when I click play on the launcher. Any help?

If optifine is crashing then xray isn't going to work. There was a bug in the release version that broke xray without optifine and I never got around to fixing it. You can use markers instead (assuming you are using 1.16)
