And is there a simple way to change the language of this extension to English if the browser itself is in another language?
I don't understand at all how this extension works in Google Chrome. I couldn't use SOCK5, only HTTPS, but even that's hard to get going. It just refuses to work. Then somehow everything starts working after some time. Now I decided to use another proxy, and then I returned the old one and it doesn't want to work! All proxies are fully functional (I'm the only one using them) and they work great in FoxyProxy for Firefox, but in Chrome it's just awful. I might be doing something wrong, but what? I don't really like Chrome as a browser and always use Firefox, but sometimes I need a second browser and, moreover, almost all my friends use a strange thing called Chrome, so I have to adapt.

Firefox is the only browser that supports authentication (sending username/password) for SOCKS. Therefore, the option is not possible in Chrome.
If authentication is needed, it is best to use HTTP/HTTPS proxies in Chrome.
Note
SOCKS username/password won't work in Chrome but if you need to edit the values for some reason, click on the FoxyProxy icon to toggle the disabled elements.
See also FoxyProxy Help under "Show Hidden Elements"
