Notepad3 released a pre-release version yesterday, which supports Fortran syntax highlighting (with my contribution last year). I think Notepad3 has a more modern and beautiful highlighting style, and I really like its syntax highlighting in Markdown.
Syntax highlighting in Fortran
Since it supports Fortran syntax highlighting, and it can replace Notepad under Windows, it is convenient for me to use it on the command line:
notepad main.f90
NOTE: It only supports Windows OS.
We can add a link of Notepad3 to this page in the Fortran webpage.
I'll consider adding a PR for this next week.
