Hi,

I have the Problem, that not all sales are tracked. Some sales are tracked as abdoned cart, even if the order is placed. is it necessary to configure something else? We just installed the module and filled in the host and site id.

I investigated a little more, and found a strange behavior.
I put some things in the cart, go to checkout and while checking out, I logged into my account. matomo is then creating another session accociated to my user account but still keeps track of my actions in the "not loggged" in session. I then put some more items in the cart. When I then go to the checkout and finish it, i'll have one abdoned cart ("old" not logged in session), and one ecommerce sale (new logged in session), both created by the same actions in my browser.
Another strange thing: i did the checkout with browser brave, but as soon as I logged in, it get tracked with my "old" profile and shows firefox as browser.

I've noticed similar things on our site as well. A customer will begin their session. Add some stuff to their cart. Then login and it starts a new session with the previous session being reported as abandoned cart.

We've also noticed inconsistencies in the number of orders reported by matomo and the number of real orders in magento. I believe it's a result of customers using tracker blockers which brave has. If the Matomo Tracking API was used by the extension it would probably produce more accurate ecommerce events.

I have disabled all kinds of blockers in brave for the tests.

Is there no one having this Issue with the Plugin? I'm still not sure if it is a plugin issue, or an issue with matomo itself.
