As a NixOS user, it will be really helpful to install pollymc from package manager.

Suggestion

Add pollymc in the NixOS package manager system.

Benefit

To make it easier for NixOS users to install and enjoy Pollymc.

I'm not the developer, but I don't think this is a good idea imho. to be fair, then we'll need the packages available for every Linux package manager (nix, rpm, apt, aur...). I think you can always compile the packages yourself and submit it to any nix repo, if you're allowed to be a mantainer

linux GUI is best run on flatpak, you need this org.polymc.PolyMC

There is Nix support for the package, it's using the the flake in your configuration.
