I've just received a notification for a post that was over two hours old at the time. That said, it might be an issue on Reddit's side, as I attempted to search for the post on-site and it wasn't even there despite having not been deleted. However, it does seem to just be that specific subreddit out of the ones I'm using this extension for, though there may be others.
The text was updated successfully, but these errors were encountered:
Reddit search (reddit.com/search)? If so, unfortunately it's normal for Reddit search to sometimes delay posts.
Basically, when you create a post in a subreddit, it doesn't immediately go into the database that Reddit's search works on. This may have something to do with the caches Reddit uses.
That's why the extension has post filters, though they are very limited.

It didn't show up in reddit search, but ALSO the notification from THIS didn't come until two hours after the post went up.
