HT3D and 1D heat transfer #14000
-
I need to model a square steel column protected with plasterboard. I used HT3D for the steel column, and I created plasterboard layer obstructions touching the steel obstructions. For the plasterboard, I used 1D as well as HT3D, but in both cases I get the error 424: HT3D thin solids must have at least one face exposed in the direction 2. Is there any other way that I can model my case? I highly appreciate your advice. Thanks in advance |

Please attach an input file demonstrating the error you are getting. |

This configuration is not allowed. You have, I think, a thin 3-D obstruction abutting another obstruction. |
