Thanks for the advice, leading user to feeds.pub when user visit an RSS file makes it easier for people to follow it, I am also considering this feature.

But I am a little worried, in some circumstances, people may just want to check the RSS file.

Another option is to denote it on the badge. But we already have a badge to denote the unread count.

I think Feeds Pub has two things to do. One is let more blogs to embed the badge. On the other hand, as long as the extension is installed, even if the blog does not use our badge, the extension can be popped up to include this blog in the Feeds Pub.

Detect RSS file and display a "follow on feeds.pub" button within a blog sounds like a good idea
