What were you trying to do and how can we improve it?
I'm seeking information on whether an employee of a defense contractor is prohibited from contributing to a political campaign. It is still not clear whether employees of defense contractors who ultimately do not have a direct contract with the government are allowed to contribute. Examples would help.
General feedback?
I was not able to find a clear, fully descriptive answer beyond the legal jargon of 'federal contractors are contracted by the government' -- I work on projects that get my company on contract with the government, but I'm just an employee of the company. Does that make me a federal contractor? Still unsure.

I'm a systems engineer at a large defense contractor company interested in political campaign contributions.
