Thanks! Yeah, the "JACK CV" ports that Non-Mixer exposes are actually audio ports.

Actually which fork it is doesn't matter cos the commit that should make ports CV was in the now gone original

2d43a8a#diff-0183bffdbfc575d04b1980fa97ca8c8d

I've checked - no, I use the original version.
