Add form doesn't show up on first home page load

Even when logged in (such as with autocreate_admin turned on with initial deployment) the first time the home view is loaded, the add form doesn't show up. All you need to do is to reload the page, click on the home icon, or click on another link and then back to get it to show up. No loss of functionality.
