Smooth track transition during merge?

Hi everyone,

I am trying to encode multiple songs into one single file (album) (flac -> mp3).

Is there any option or plugin which could allow me to make smooth track transition?

I remember winamp had something like that and I very liked it.

For example if I can define lets say 3 seconds of the transition in which one track would fade out and another would fade in.
