in a table, how to make a selectable list where the labels are also selectable?

I'm trying to make a single-selection list in egui. I've been roughly following the table demo (which also exhibits this problem). The problem is, the rows are only selectable (and hoverable) if you are over a blank area in the row. If you are hovering over, or clicking on a label in the row, the mouse pointer becomes a text cursor and the row is not selectable. How to remedy this so the entire row is treated the same, allowing me to click either on the blank space or the label and have that row be selected?

Alternatively, if there is a better way to make a selectable list, with each row a fixed width, where the entire row is selectable (whether it has a label or empty space), I'd also like to know. Thanks!
