Not sure why, but I have seen multiple times that ecu did update all the other boilerplate, but didn't leave any changes to the package.json. I would have expected at least to see new versions of our (unstable) embroider deps.

And indeed, if you run the blueprint from scratch with ember new ... the package.json does have newer versions! 🤔
